Windows 7 Goes RTM

I am waiting to use windows 7

 

i never had chance to try out the demo's that were released a bit back so im looking forward to be able to try this

 

Can't wait for the final release and install it to my new build gaming machine

 

Get Windows 7 on pre order offer . I have ordered one copy after testing Windows 7 RC . There's is also an option to download Windows 7 RC version which is free till next June .I didn't find much changes in the Windows 7 RTM change logs as published on some tech blogs .So I will continue with Windows 7 RC until the final version is out by October of this year .

 

there is a downside to having a cracked copy. You will not be getting any updates, you have the risk of installing a version that is bundled with malware/rootkits and of course, if cought you may face fines.

Yeah that's right. I got scared by this notice . Won't use it till the final version gets out.

 

Windows 7 is better than vista but it still runs applications slower than XP according to stats here http://crave.cnet.co.uk/software/0,39029471,49303203-7,00.htm

 

pitagora is right, unless you've got the right tools to stay protected, it's always a bad idea to run cracked programs.

If it's a solid program...buy it

Even if you could why would you bother now when you can run the RC until March of next year. Besides the family pack pricing looks pretty decent.

 

I'm planning on going from XP > 7 very soon. I'm excited to move to an operating that is getting good feedback (unlike vista).

 

Released To Manufacturing means???

 

I can't wait to try it when final release comes out ^^ . I am hearing many good reviews about it already.

 

It's released to computer manufacturers such as Dell, Lenovo, HP, Acer, etc for production bundling into their newest computers.

It also means that the retail box production will begin.
