Yep im running windows 7 64 bit, all working altho windows 7 build 7106 is having issues with "GIMP" but every thing else is fine
Windows 7 Media center is a vast improvement on both vista and Xp. The TV guide is now reliable and works properly in the UK, supports free sat, HD TV and has proper series linking. At last we can get rid of all those other nasty little boxes under the TV screen.
I have had lot's of issues with Windows 7 Beta. Windows Explorer crashed a lot. IE locked up a bunch. But it could be this Dell laptop and Windows 7 is just not a good marriage. However, I switched to Ubuntu 64 and it is blazing fast and works circles around VISTA. I will never go back. With WINE, you can run most Windows programs. Thanks for sharing the freebees!!
I installed Windows 7 - build 7077 (64 bit) last week (dual booted on a Vista machine) and it's been great so far. Although there has been the occasional blue screen (which I'm hoping is due to it being a beta version and the fact that I don't have any drivers made for it) overall it's been a huge step up from Vista. It's faster and everything just seems to work.
Yes, thanks for the sharing on windows 7 tools. Even I myself not yet using this O/S, I heard my friend said it improve on the speed compare to Vista.
