    I do know about unix and linux. You are making Macs seem godly. They are not, they have their flaws. Macs still get plenty of security updates. Safari and itunes have constant security flaws in them. Hackers still comprise these machines. All I am saying is that if Microsoft disappeared and Mac became the number one operating system all you would hear about then would be the flaws like you hear about windows now. Apple's reputation would erode over time if this happened and everyone would be hating on Apple. That's all I am saying.

    But you are presuming it would be the same and that is where you are wrong. Attacking Unix (which is what Mac's OSX is) is far more difficult than Windows could ever hope for and, if Windows went away, people would have far fewer problems.
