Windows 7 RC is better than the previously released Beta version.

i think the official release of windows 7 is on 2010... so its better to wait for the complete version than trying some beta version

Is Win7 using a new file system? WinFS was supposed to be a part of Vista, but never made it in. I haven't heard much since then which leads me to believe that Win7 will still use NTFS.

While I like NTFS, it was developed about 10 years ago. I think it is time for a newer, more efficient file system

I have used Windows 7 and I don't think its 25 % faster than Vista ,though I noticed a little improvement in boot time .

It seems Microsoft is planning to release Windows 7 by the year end. Steve Ballmer, CEO, Microsoft Corporation, has disclosed that at the inaugural session of Microsoft TechEd India 2009 in Hyderabad on May 13, 2009
