Double Leak! First, OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard appears out of nowhere. Now Santa has delivered a last minute gift via BitTorrentâ€¦

Wow huh? A download of Beta of the new Windows 7 and a few screen shots of Snow Leopard. Hmmmm, seems that Snow Leopard has 32 bit Operating System mode.

Cutting the Cheese for Windows Fanatics: If you are okay that technically you arenâ€™t supposed to have the Beta of Windows 7. You can check it out hereâ€¦.

But just wait now. Beta expires on July 1, 2009 so that means if you want to pickup free OS for that sweet new build, you better do it now before you canâ€™t use Beta anymore. Then you can laugh at the other people who had to be a registered Beta tester and pay $99 for this baby.

And now lets not forget a review of Windows 7 from ZDNet. Apparently itâ€™s pretty pretty. Literally

I have to thank Santa for leaving me a copy of Windows 7 beta 1 in my stocking for Christmas Day. This beta (build 6.1.7000.0.081212-1400) should be the first and only beta from Microsoft of Windows 7, and Iâ€™m pleased to report that itâ€™s a good oneâ€¦â€¦â€¦..

This beta is of excellent quality. This is the kind of code that you could roll out and live with. Even the pre-betas were solid, but finally this beta feels like itâ€™s â€œdone.â€ This beta exceeds the quality of any other Microsoft OS beta that Iâ€™ve handled.

Err, this is pretty old news, and yes - downloading operating system builds from unknown sources WILL get you into serious trouble... (if you value control over your machine(s) and information)
