Windows 7 beta build 7000 Expiry date

    I downloaded the Windows 7 beta build 7000 and used the legit activation keys from microsoft. I heard it still expires on the 1st of July even though its has been activated.

    Can someone please clarify if this is true.

    You can try it this way, but make sure you've backup or clone the whole os first before doing so.

    1. Boot up to the motherboard bios setting.
    2. Set the bios date to 1st July 2009.
    3. Unplug your network cable or any connection to the internet.
    4. Reboot to the OS, and see if it will expire. :)
