For me I would choose windows XP for now as I find Vista is still rather unstable and ate up many resources, that "ask your permission" pop-up pretty annoys me.
I'd go with Vista but not as an upgrade. Vista is a more advanced and more stable OS that needs much more hardware resources, so it's much slower on older computers. If you're getting a new system, I'd say go with Vista.
yeah, vista is really good i have install it 2 days ago in my laptop and its really looking nice, loading slow but its working perfect and i haven't any problem with vista.
If you are running high level business applications I would stick with XP, many systems are not planned to be Vista compatible until the end of this year!!!! If not then I would say Vista
I use XP or Ubuntu myself, I tried Vista but I wasn't happy with the amount of system resources it actually uses.
Now i,m using vista... the graphic is very nice and wonderfull. but its need high support RAM to operate that system...
I use XP, I don't *need* Vista yet, and XP works just fine for me at no additional cost. No driver issues, speed issues, other expensives, weird program compatibility, etc.
vista needs a fast PC...like 2gb ram...80 or more gb hard disk etc.... its better to have a PC installed vista frm before
i like xp better personally but its whatever you prefer..if you play older games they may not work for vista tho :/
Thats exactly what I would say. In my opnion recommended: DX10 Video card Atleast 2 gb ram these are the main things.
Yes, i recommend you Vista. As i've already told somebody, Vista has many new functions that XP doesn't...
I suggest you wait for some time as at the moment, vista has some compatibility issues, anyway its your choice
Not always. Vista will probably be OK after a few service packs. XP were bad in the start too, but with SP2 they became very usable OS.
