win win situation or am I seeing it wrong?

    Hi,

    I'm trying to develop a site dedicated to travel photography(trip reports, reviews that sort of thing). I'm offering the chance for people(in the main keen photographers) to send me a trip report with the option to attach photos and their website. The win win is that I get content for my website and the other person gets a quality link back to their website. The link will be shown in the review so if somebody reads it who is interested there is a good chance they will go on the other persons website to see more photos.
    Is this really a win win or am I seeing it wrong?

    Yep. You are seeing it wrong.
    Think who your target audience is. How many of those will even have a website?

    Also, even if they did, they would not be getting a quality link back to their site unless you are already well established and have a PR 5 or above.

    And finally, even if I had a website, but it was not in the travel photography area, that link back won't help me at all. In fact, it could hurt a little.:))
