Hello, This is my first contest so please bear with me. I am looking for a header for www.blogged-out.com – this blog is a guide for bloggers who need tips and advice on promoting and running their blog. All of the content is unique and I have just started to promote the blog myself. I am looking for a header which is going to be eye catching and make the blog stand out amongst other blogs. The colours need to fit within the colour scheme of the blog, but I don’t want the image and blog to appear too dark. I have no imagination, so I want you to use your “creative juices†and design something special. The size specification is: 702 x 150 pixels JPEG and needs to be a satisfactory file size for quick loading. Text that can be included Blogged Out! or Blogged Out.com Tagline: The Bloggers Guide to Blogging I will pay the winning design US$80 via PayPal and I will make a decision at mid-day 18 March 2007 GMT Time.
Malique, quick start! I like the web 2.0 look, but I'm not keen on the font colours or background colours. Since you read my post I have added on the text and tag line that I'd like included. Also maybe keep the image rounded like the rest of the theme. Hope these suggestions help.

Ok, time for some feedback Firstly, thank you everyone who have submitted artwork so far. Bronya, The colours are nice, but I don't like the buildings at the bottom of the header. I'm not sure it'll stand out. Addicted to Fate, Love it.Two things. Could you make the edges round and maybe put a very thin border around it. Would it be too much to ask to do this in brown and cream version to see which one I prefer. Great idea with the speach bubbles. Thanks for the feedback - I initially had a keyboard on there but it felt a little bit too generic, so I was trying to come up with something else and just put that in until I thought of another, but then I decided to post it as is haha. I'll have a think, or if you have anything in mind let me know. Cheers.

Thanks for that DaveyBoy. Having looked at the pencil design more I do like the pencils. Please don't make any changes it's in contention.
