HerDish, can you put the website name on two lines and stand it up (so it doesn't look like it is laying on its back). masjacky, not quite what I'm looking for. Maybe try a smaller icon and a different font. stellah57, I like the icon more without the oval. Thanks. You might be able to think of something else to replace the oval with but the oval didn't seem to work. I also like the reflection. Try to make the fonts the same size--something doesn't seem to flow with the font choice. You could also try to use different fonts (not 'loud' fonts)...maybe something like was used in post #61, #41, or #45. Is there something that you can do to the blocks to give them more 'personality'? For example, maybe make the two blocks, in the middle row, a different color (maybe match the name of the city?)... All participants, can the blocks look more real?
@CH: after so many try, I can't figure out what is the design style you wanted... I'm out of this contest, Good luck everyone...
HerDish, that seems to look too 'animated' for my purposes. Will changing the background to white help?
I'm not sure if the last image in http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showpost.php?p=13318948&postcount=18 is raster or vector. I like the appearance of that. Thanks for your entry. I will give it consideration.
masjacky, thank you for the entry. You are doing a great job following my requests for this. Can you show me how a 16x16 favicon would appear?
I will pay someone (or more than one participant) in two days or less. I don't think there is a clear winner so I probably won't request the image be sent to me. But I will pay the money out as promised. I will probably re-run the contest later with a higher winning payout. Thank all of you.
Thank everyone for participating. nayirpro, stellah57, and masjacky all deserved kudos for your work. I have ended up choosing stellah57. Stellah57, please email me your paypal info. Thanks again, everyone.
