When I read back through all the entries I'm really saddened by how low the quality actually was.

I wanted things that could rank Top Ten on Digg. That means they have to be something anyone would be intrigued to read - usually means fairly quirky. My examples specified a few, such as "World's Strangest Houses". It needed to be interesting, not dull.

I therefore give the prize to user "immortality" as his was the one that at least understood the challenge and idea, even though I feel his actual headline might be slightly tasteless, or difficult to pull off an article for:
"Top 10 funniest house fires of 2007"
