Win $35 : Web 2.0 logo for photo site

Hi Everyone,

I am looking for a new logo made for my new photo community. The community is shutterweek DOT com. The only requirements are:

1) Logo colors should go with dark and light background.
Specific background colors: #333333, #525252, #DCDCD1 and #EDEDED

2) Logo should have that web 2.0 feel.

3) Looking for elegant, clean and pro logo

4) Check the site so you can have an idea of the light and style and colors used.

Updated, I've changed a few elements, colour of the 'week' and moved the poloriod pics down abit.

 

Thank you for the entries so far. Suggestions for all those who have given their entries and for them who are giving in, I am looking for a very simple, clean and elegant logo, which will go well with the current site design.

Among the entires received so far, Keili and crowquill entries are nearest one.

You may like to work more on the graphic part, may be take a clue from “shutter”

You too can improve the graphic part and in your case, tag line is more prominent than the logo. I would like to have a prominence on the logo

How the logo could look on your site.

 

Thank you, IMHO it looks little not so serious with the kind of font and bright color. May consider revising both for giving it a little serious look
