Design is ok but can definetly be improved. Colours are good. But a real lack of content. Not sure i'm into all the adsense stuff.
It's a nice looking design, although...and let me say this first...I hate adsense, but I am really not impressed by the adsense banner on top of the header...looks needy. Is this a site for your business, or an information site with adsense as the revenue source?

Hi, I'm not an adsense guru but the main thing I see is that there lacks content. I'm the kinda person that would like to see a sitemap like google does and you don't have that. Start with a menu navigation menu or bar and start writing your heart away every night until you have at least 10 good, not long, topics. Submit your topics to free article directories with decent PR and don't forget to add your site url at the bottom of your article submission, not in the body anywhere. Then when someone like me finds your site, I read and browse and then click on your adsense to commend you. And then you make a buck or two that day, like myself and try to figure out how to get more traffic. That's the hard part. Another member mentioned adsense at the top not being centered. It's true but a lot of people have banner blindness, you should just have like 4 text links up there nice and thin, not a block banner. Or don't place any adsense at the top at all, in my case this works best for me. Good luck!!
I am the wrong person to ask..I am just not a big fan of seeing adsense first when a page loads, but I don't think like the average surfer. Under the nav bar may be better if it's symmetrical, but then having the other block right there on the right, might be overkill.
I think the adsense banner at the top should be removed because it does not look good with the theme of the site. I think you should focus on adding more content to the site.
