Will your adsense account be removed for inactivity?

I currently have an adsense account but the page I have setup is currently getting no activity. I am not sure how soon I plan on fixing that problem. Do they disable your account or remove it at all due to inactivity?

r u sure? adsense will ban users that dont send any clicks or imnpressions for a long period of time. even publishers with very low impressions or clicks will get banned also as google considers those publisher accounts to be liabilities. short or temporary inactivity will not hurt but if you dont generate any impressions or clicks for a long time, then it will trigger alarm

for maybe about a year i had a page with adsense that would not even get flies on it,
i never got anything from adsense about disabling my account due to lack of activity.

that was a while back, but now i do not know. I am thinking they wont do anything though...

Thank you for all your input guys. I have just setup a blog (different then the initial site). Not only should that get me started with making money online but should also solve the problem about what happens if the account is inactive.

As long as you stick with the rules Google won't remove adsense from any site.

I have been away from adsense about 1 year or more due to my exams with $00 per day. I am currently using that account and I was not removed.

There is a clause that is written into Adsense TOS saying that you can loose an account for inactivity but to my knowledge Adsense have not had reason to implement it.

write to Google support and ask them.

I asked the same question for their affiliate program and they confirmed that they do not disable accounts for inactivity.

i dont think so it might be due to inactivity.may be some technical problems from google side.

I suppose if you stick to the rules and regulations of Google Adsense, then it won't remove the account.
But in order to be on safe side, why not generate some business to Google.
