    This is your answer. Build content with something useful or informative and people will link to you for nothing. That's what organic linking is all about. And of course the real benefit is that you're doing it for your human visitors, not spiders, but it will also benefit you in terms of SE ranking.

    I got several genuine PR5 quite easily, as long as you build an interesting site and "tell" some forums/blogs about it. Not worth to pay for a PR5. A guaranteed PR7 or 8 is something totally different.

    I don't pay money to SEO company to get my site PR5. But investment helps a lot, buying links.

    I always think PR5 is the first goal for your site. PR4 is easy, but to get PR5, it takes more time and effort, as well as investment.

    Good SEO, including good content, with PR5 helps a lot in rankings especially if your competitors know SEO.

    Higher PR is an indicator that you've been doing a good job getting quality inbound links. In that sense, PR is a signicant thing — not in and of itself, but because it directly reflects the number and quality of your backlinks.

    I will not pay to get PR , i can do it myself and for that if i can buy links and links from websites that i think are worth the investment;)
