Because most people use Google to search so Google+ will soon beat Facebook.

I thin people are underestimating how powerful and popular Google is. Google plus is just a new social network but because of the amount of users it has, it will soon beat Google. Although at the moment, facebook is still more popular than Google plus.

I have been using Google + since Google launched it and I can say, it is way better than Freshbooks. Its Hangout feature is something that makes it different from others.

    Hello Alodia,

I will jsut give you the idea regarding the craze and importance G+ has made in just a weeks time. There were limited invitations for the open project source of G+ and the requests were so many that the number of requests were termed as INSANE in just minutes after opening. Where as FB, he is just on his knees trying hard to cope up the constant performance criteria and fame level, Recently he made a deal with the skype for V confrencing but it has not been finalised yet, let us see what is the result. But remember, if you want to be the best, you have to first defeat the best.

Google+ could very well gain traction and overtake Twitter, at least. Some of its features are similar to Twitter, except easier to use. If celebrities jump boat to G+, then Twitter will probably be no more. Facebook could also be overtaken, but in the long term, probably a few years or so.

some of the features of Google+ stands out among other social networking sites, for it allows do-follow anchor texts on profiles, plus you can also bold, italicize, or strikethrough your post characters

G+ is good but Facebook is more comfortable and good. May be this is why because we are using face since a long time. But I think Facebook is better.

Its okay, and it has the potential to beat Facebook, but I think with Google+ it wants to see people who have an actual relationship with the people in there circle, which would explain why is on an invite basis.

May be not immediately, but in the long time definitely, google has an advantage of having their own networks to promote as get more individuals to sign up

Yes that is true, they are probably going to spend sometime working out the kinks and bugs of it, to see how it can become better. But eventually everyone would have one.

If YouTube, Facebook, and Twitter combine they could call it: You Twit Face

LOL, now that is funny. Can you imagine what it would be like if they did, or if Google bought them out... that would be crazy, you would pretty much need a Google account to login into anything "You Twit Face" lol

You have a good point on that.. they focus mainly on who you really know and just telling us that friendship or the people that we really know counts in quality not in quantity.
