As we all know, the shipping fee is the KEY factor that affects the product price and shipping time. For example, a 10$ valued product will be shipped with 15$, so the cost is TOO high. I myself is a retailer in CHina and I am going to sell worldwide, but, the shipping fee STOPPED me and I do not have good solutions.

Western countries are most likely not going to buy Chinese branded products unfortunately. It's just a social thing.

Furthermore, if you were to start the site regardless, I really advise you to find someone who is 100% proficient in English.

There is nothing more offputting then illiteracy in an online store.

    Good luck :)

what is your website, can we take a look? honestly, I would not buy directly from a Chinese website. the last times I dealt with a Chinese website, I never received my product. My cousin and uncle had the same problem to. My suggestion would be not to mention your location. If your product is exactly what the customer wants, and it's cheaper than everyone else, and no complain, once they receive it, they won't care where it's from.

also, as you mentioned as a retail website, shipping one item is so expensive. they can get it from a local store at the same price. One time I shipped a item to Canada it cost me $45 for a 5lb item.

if the person is not buying wholesale, it's not worth it. It's only cheap when you send it in a container. A whole whole container cost $2500. which comes out to few dollor a item

In fact much of you will choose fake products from China ,as they are no different from real ones. As they are produced in the same factories as real brand ones.

I buy lot's of my products directly from China and spend hundreds of dollars per month doing so to then resell them for profit. I have no trouble doing this and ounce you find genuine sellers, you shouldn't run into any problems at all.

depends on the supplier and how you were introduced. be very careful work in small quantities and don't be surprised if things aren't as they appear.

for me it depends completely on quality - it doesnt matter what the bulk is as long as its something that i can wear and enjoy wearing for a long time

    No.
Chinese products are good if regulated.
there are many out there that may just scam u however.
Only buy if u know the person. Too much risk.

Only from verified vendors and sellers, but it's hard to tell as there are many fakes floating around from there.
