Will You Be Using Wordpress Network?

One of the best-advertised features in the new Wordpress 3.0 release is the incorporation of the Wordpress MU software into the general release - enabling users to run multiple blogs from one installation.

How many of you will be taking advantage of this? I have a couple of sub-blogs on my domain and I'm considering using it to simplify management and such, and there is a domain mapping plugin which means I could effectively bring in totally seperate domains and run them from the same server - I don't know how much this will hit my load or such but I think for the simplicity it may be worth a try.

How many others have heard about this feature?

 

WOW! it will be a great feature. I was looking for the feature like it. i am planning to have 5 different blogs on 5 different niches on my site. This feature will help me alot.

What is release date for WP 3.0?

 

Tentatively scheduled for April, 2010.

This will be great! Cant wait! If only it came a few months earlier, I am working on a new project at the moment and want to incorporate a blog using a sub domain. WP 3.0 would be perfect for keeping a simple CMS front end and a blog seperately.

 

I do offer blogs to my users but I do fresh installs. I think its about time to move over to Wordpress MU.

 

Am waiting for this since it's announcement. I don't have to update every blog separately now.
