One of the best-advertised features in the new Wordpress 3.0 release is the incorporation of the Wordpress MU software into the general release - enabling users to run multiple blogs from one installation. How many of you will be taking advantage of this? I have a couple of sub-blogs on my domain and I'm considering using it to simplify management and such, and there is a domain mapping plugin which means I could effectively bring in totally seperate domains and run them from the same server - I don't know how much this will hit my load or such but I think for the simplicity it may be worth a try. How many others have heard about this feature?
WOW! it will be a great feature. I was looking for the feature like it. i am planning to have 5 different blogs on 5 different niches on my site. This feature will help me alot. What is release date for WP 3.0?
This will be great! Cant wait! If only it came a few months earlier, I am working on a new project at the moment and want to incorporate a blog using a sub domain. WP 3.0 would be perfect for keeping a simple CMS front end and a blog seperately.
I do offer blogs to my users but I do fresh installs. I think its about time to move over to Wordpress MU.
