From Wikipedia The iPhone is a multimedia and Internet-enabled quad-band GSM EDGE-supported mobile phone designed and sold by Apple Inc. The iPhone's functions include those of a camera phone and a multimedia player. It also offers Internet services including e-mail, text messaging, web browsing, Visual Voicemail, and local Wi-Fi connectivity. User input is accomplished via a multi-touch screen with virtual keyboard and buttons. Apple has filed more than 200 patents related to the technology behind the iPhone.[1] The iPhone is available from Apple Retail Stores, the Apple Online Store, and from AT&T Mobility, formerly Cingular Wireless, for a contracted price of US$499 for the 4 GB model and US$599 for the 8 GB model.
Not worth it in my opinion. I could spend the $500 better here in the site sale section or something. For me, a simple pohone that allows you to call and recieve calls is fine.
You know Apple only pays $212 for each of those iPhones that cost customers $500. Net gain per iPhone for Apple= $288. Damn multimillionaires....
I already spent a ton of money on my phone from last year. I need to wear it out before I spend a lot of money on the next one. Plus, the iPhone doesn't really do Flash.
I won't get one anytime soon... I just got an iPod a few months ago. I'll wait until they have a 5th generation of the iPhone (and the price drops a few hundered!) Then I'll think about getting one...
hahaha...i wanted to but i can't afford it just now...maybe when they already drop the price a few hundreds...hahahaha...and i have other plans for me to spend my money...hehehe
I'm waiting for it to arrive in Canada, because right now it still cannot be unlocked for our local carriers and it's only available in the USA... But I'm getting one as soon as it's here, that's for certain. Actually I needed to buy a new phone for about 6 months now, and I kept delaying that so I could get an iPhone )))
