Microsoft gave us a taste of windows 7 during the live beta and well I am satisfied completely. The question is will any of you actually pay for windows 7? Or are you going to download it (warez) or simply buy a new computer with windows 7 oem version? I personally have never bought an operating system because I think they should be free, but I don't know this time Microsoft is dying and after years of their good operating systems (except windows ME) I might support the ol dinosaur.
Yes. I'm planning to buy new laptop and will buy legal, genuine copy of Windows 7 with it. Developing any operating system is always a herculean task, so it's worth it. Isn't it?
and to nihangshah the software engineers and developers behind the operating system itself get paid regardless if it's a hit or not so they don't care if you buy their product or not it's microsoft and its CEO's that care if you buy it or not so I'm not worried about helping out the engineers since I'm studying to become one myself
I will surely buy a copy of windows 7. I have tested this OS for some time and really like it very much
Maybe , i didnt bought Vista because it was too slow ,i use now windows XP and i haven't any problems with it im fine with XP but if W7 is better i'll buy it
I definitely will buy a genuine copy of Windows 7. I already reserved my money for it and just waiting for the right moment to come. - Dynashox -
heck no, I just built my PC in Feb all with parts with Biostart motherboard, AMD phenom Quad core, 4GB ram, etc.. and had to pay $300 for Windows Vista. The OS cost more then the parts almost!!
I am looking at buying an i7, windows 7 and Office 14 all OEM next year. I am using open office now because Office 2007 retail is so expensive.
No, if i get a new notebook with Mirco$oft Windows 7 i will deleted it and replace it with XP & Linux...
