Will yahoo publisher go global? Or do they intend on staying in America only?

Because me and a lot of other webmasters are keen to join. :)

They are a long way from expanding - more than a year. They have fewer advertisers than when they started. Their targeting algorithm sucks, payment is equal or less than adsense in most cases, they only pay for clicks from US traffic - combine that with a much lower CTR than adsense, and you're better off with adsense. They have a LONG way to go - and may never do it.

I think going global will solve a lot of there problems. And is the only way they can really compete.

I can't wait to yahoo goes global.

So a year away? Do you think they will definetely go global eventually, or just your guess?

They initially had plans to go global but there advertising program is a big mess right now and they continue to lose ground to google. Without increasing their advertisers, they simply do not have enough advertisers to even run their US program. Going international presents a lot more problems, and of course, means even lower payouts.

I don't think it looks very good right now, and while I would like to see someone compete with google, I'm not sure yahoo is going to succeed. I think they need to team up or merge with Microsoft to have a chance. YPN is going backwards right now, and that is not a good sign.

Yahoo must finished it first like what Google did to their adsense... So that they will encounter less problem in the near future after the project was launched...-
