Yes, I know, Jeremy, another member has played this as well - both in saying I am pulling things out of context, and that I am psychologically imbalanced. It appears you have learned to borrow from another's play card. Wears thin, when the words are there. As this morning's unfortunate exchange elsewhere has shown, your views seem clear, and that is regretful.

Gee, thought I was on ignore... I've got nothing to hide, my name, address, incidentals, its all publicly posted here. How about you Julian?

My suggestion to you and North (since I've experienced these kind of attacks and baiting here before) is to calm down. Reason? I enjoy the conversation, and its quite likely you'll both end up banned, and those conversations will end.

Anyway, I'll gladly accept you apology now for the racial slander remarks.

A lot of us here have proven that you are a racist countless time, but you're still in denial. Should I start a thread with all your insults and your insensitive comments to others here?

P.S. Hardee's is hiring again. Might want to fill out an app.

If you feel I have done something bannable, or even worthy of an infraction, please feel free to report it. Now's a good time, probably - I know another member is trying to construct a notion of a "campaign" of "harassment...lies...attacks," so perhaps you'll find some audience.

You see, Jeremy, as regretful as this is, and as much as I enjoyed exchanges in the past, it isn't my way to speak what I feel is the truth in one context, and not in another. This loses me "friends" on the forum, I suppose, but I couldn't care less. You have, at various times, stated or strongly implied Obama is a terrorist plant/traitor/black nationalist/homosexual murderer (have I missed any); you routinely cast people together into one, nefarious group, so long as they fall outside your narrowly prescribed worldview. That I speak to it isn't an attack, but a statement of what I see as fact.

You've obviously never read my posts in their entirety, or completely mis-interpreted them. I can't help you there. When you've made up your mind, there is no changing it. Its pretty sad man.

Maybe we should all take this test or one of the many like it and see where we all stand.

I was a bit surprised with my result. Whether to blame the quiz or blame myself, i don't know :D

    http://www.quibblo.com/quiz/34t0lr/Are-You-A-Racist

Only widespread social awareness will help counter racism, not going out on witch hunts. Which is what i usually see happen.

I assure you I have read everything, fully, and have concluded the truth accordingly. It is sad, Jeremy.

I don't think Mia is a racist. I might have accused him of it before, but I really don't think he is a racist.

I think this sort of baiting with "racist" etc. (of which I have also been guilty) is counterproductive. Argue on merit if you can. Joke about the rest.

    It's just the internet.

We've all got prejudices. It's what we do with them that matters, it seems to me. Perhaps http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showpost.php?p=7955113&postcount=106 provides some context.

    Nice quiz

    Are You A Racist?
    My Result: Not Really Racist

You don't care about race. A person is a person and you judge people based on the individual. You have friends of all kinds of races, but you'll probably marry your own race. You're not averse to any particular race though.
    Suggestion: Live and Let Live
Similar Personalities: Sammy Davis Jr., Bill Clinton, Bruce Lee

I like the Bruce Lee reference.

I beg to differ there for sure. I am very certain that Mia has a very narrow view of the world and that his prejudice on a number of topics proves that he is a racist.

I don't doubt that Mia might be prejudiced, but then I am as well. Prejudice is "to pre-judge". Many of us make judgments constantly, based on limited information.

Humans make choices based on differentiation. The reality is, as much as we might want to feel otherwise, we're generally more comfortable around people who look like us, whether it is the same gender, race, etc. Honestly, I'm not too comfortable around people with severe mental handicaps. I'm always paranoid I am staring or thinking of less of them, whether I am or not.

That's an uncomfortability I have, that drives me to spend less time around people with severe mental handicaps. I don't hate them, I don't want to take advantage of them, but I do feel insecure around them, and it's occurring at a primal level, not necessarily by conscious decision.

I had a friend who argues about discrimination, says it is illegal. I told him that idea was a farce. He doesn't date Asian women. He doesn't date fat women. He doesn't date older women. He won't date Muslims. Sure as hell sounds like he discriminates a lot!

The whole notion of not discriminating creates an obligation (known as a POSITIVE RIGHT) that puts an impossible and irrational burden on the people meant to fulfill that right. After all, how can you prove that you didn't hire or serve someone based on their race/religion/sex/age? It's nearly impossible, if not absolutely impossible.

I guess if people think you are a racist on this forum, I must be one too.

I got the EXACT same answer to the quiz as you did, word for word......

Firegirl, it isn't on the basis of a questionnaire (the purpose of which we all know before going in) that I, for one, am speaking to this, and I don't get my jollies posting wildly irresponsible nonsense. This isn't fun, but there is a basis. Please refer to http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showpost.php?p=8033076&postcount=30, or, as of this morning, here (specifically, post 510-down), if you wonder why any of this is going on.

Ha, I got the same answer. Go figure.

Mind you, I didn't think the quiz was that good.

We could use a little more sanity in an increasingly neurotic and politically correct world.

I am sure there are some in America who will vote against him because of his parentage.

While that is a certainty it is also amazing that he drew such tremendous support from new voters and raised such amazing amounts of money.

While Ron Paul's success on the internet was extolled, Obama's was simply startling.

His job going forward just as McCain's will be to solidify his potential base of supporters and work to win a majority of the independants.

Meanwhile there are many across the world that have had a bad taste for America for the past few years. His upcoming nomination within the Democratic party will inspire a lot of good feelings across the globe. Last I checked, though, good feelings across the globe count for.....0000 votes.

I am more XYZ than all of you. I got "Kinda xyz". :D

Goes to show that one person's interpretation might not be another
person's cup of tea. There were many XYZ quizzes out there. Maybe there is actually a good one out there or maybe it's all subjective.

I already read it all and know exactly what you are referrng to (I read almost all of the posts in the P&R section even though I don't reply to them most of the time)....

I was just trying to "poke a little fun" at the ridiculous questions on the test.

And besides, I kinda agree with guerilla's post above. We are all prejudiced in our own ways. If we all openly discussed our feelings like Mia does, we would all be labeled prejudiced/racist. I know if some people heard my thoughts inside my head during the day....oh man....

To me, it's just a part of human nature. We naturally fear things that are different from us. It may have been part of the evolutionary process, who knows. It may be one of the instincts we don't need anymore, kinda like your appendix, that helped us survive in the caveman days.

It's when it's taken to the extreme, just like religion or anything else, is when it becomes an issue.

Racism is just hate in disguise. If the black man hates the white man for hating black men, it's just as bad as the white man hating black men.

We need to cure the disease of hate first and it's outgrowths will vanish.
