    Hi

My company's website: www.itemperance.in has a PR of 5. I want to now movie it to itemperance.com using 301 .htaccess redirection. I have a few questions i hope will be answered here:

1]- will my new domain get the PR of the old domain, ie 5
2]- will it be bad SEOwise
3]- will my listed pages on google lose their value
4]- what is the best way to redirect if not .htaccess?

I really need the answers for these questions and I believe the experts at webmaster-talk will not disappoint me.

    Thank You.

You'll pass PR, but you are not going to transfer it. Anyway, does PR really make a difference anymore? I'd suggestion just making another vhost. No redirects. Just make your new domain an alias of the current one.

Yes you will lose some page rank, but if you have strong usability reasons for changing it could be worth it.

Don't do it unless you are in a compulsion to do so!!! you will lose a little rank atleast.
