    Twitter is not even close beating facebook. Twitter is a micro-blogging platform, I can not upload videos to twitter, I can not embed my videos to twitter,,,,,.

    Facbook on the other hand, I can do all of that stuff and more - I can even upload my pictures to facebook, something I can not do to twitter.

    I used to work at Facebook. I can tell you that No, Twitter will never beat Facebook. There are way more status update than tweets. Those saying that they're different concepts are living in yesterworld. Unfortunately the media hype of Facebook won't stay forever.

    No way, Twitter is more or less like a one way communication where you just let others know what you are feeling or doing. But facebook is way cooler as it allows more than just communication and games too!!!

    We can not differentiate which one is better but i still love twitter better than facebook as i am not in the facebook field yet. I love twitter so much as i can get lots of benefit from it with the easy work.

    I think tweeter won't beat facebook in the next 5 years, because facebook has already have a lot of users, and a lot of them are international. And facebook also has lots of free games/apps to their users. As for tweeter the major users are from english based countries, such as USA, UK,...etc. Plus, tweeter only has 140 letter constraint. However, if tweeter make major changes, it's hard to say...because who knows a 20 something Harvard kid can beat Google in such short time.

    No, I definitely don't believe it. In spite of Twitter is an outstanding 'RSS tool' I don't believe it can beat facebook.

    No body know what wil happen in future but as i can see facebook is still far better than twitter because they have more feature, and most of the teen prefer facebook

    Twitter is very popular now a days, because it is very simple to use. Anyone can join and post their daily update. Other people follow you and check their update also. One more thing i like which is Testimonials from Celebrities.

    Even now that lots of people are closing their Facebook accounts, I still know more people in real life that have Facebook accounts than Twitter accounts. A lot of the people that have both are active on Facebook but rarely tweet. I think it's only really techies and internet marketing people that use Twitter a lot.
