Sorry Leo. Other Turks in this thread have made some pretty crazy anti-Jewish statements and in a web forum it is far too easy to get people confused.

This is true. The Turks landed the contract with IMI to build the turret for the new Merkava tank.

I concur. This is an issue of blind nationalism. :D

No one (that I know of) hates you, it's just that you look pretty silly when you deny the second most well documented incident of genocide in the history of mankind.

Sorry man, but it makes you look like one of those kooks who believe that the Cubans/Russians/Mafia/CIA/Jesuits killed J.F.K or that Bush/The Vatican/The Mossad/The Jesuits/space aliens attacked the World Trade Centers.

Let me put it this way -- if you were to visit Colorado, I would buy you a beer.

Yea, by "we be treated differently" i meant the global perspective not spesifically this forum. However it is not well-documented, in fact Armenian History institute refuses to share legal documents and also refuses to make common inspectations(word?) about this, but it sure is a systematic propagandate rather than well-documented.

If something like that had happened as it is meant, i'd never deny it, everybody has mistakes no point in denial on truthful circumstances anyway, though i find it yucky hypocracy to claim such thing on a political benefital basis whereas the other side of the issues tottaly stay unmentioned, do we need to go to French or US congress and have some documents approved by the politics for our history so people will believe us? I don't think so. History is for those who has expertize on it.

And about beer yeah, and you heard of raki? :D

Turkey is special, because of it's unique part-European part-Middle-Eastern heritage. This means that Turkey has an incredible opportunity to become very important in the next hundred years as a conduit for cultural interchange.

This is another reason why EU membership for Turkey is so important -- for the EU.

The trouble with denying the Armenian Genocide is the absolute mass of evidence proving the genocide. That sort of evidence simply can't be ignored.

Talat, Enver, Cemal, and Dr. Nazim were all convicted in trial and sentenced to death for the crimes.

The evidence of the Armenian Genocide isn't new -- it predates the formation of existing Armenian institutions. Much of it comes from contemporary British military records such as this:
The battalion left Aleppo on 3 February and reached Ras al-Ain in twelve hours....some 12,000 Armenians were concentrated under the guardianship of some hundred Kurds...These Kurds were called gendarmes, but in reality mere butchers; bands of them were publicly ordered to take parties of Armenians, of both sexes, to various destinations, but had secret instructions to destroy the males, children and old women...One of these gendarmes confessed to killing 100 Armenian men himself...the empty desert cisterns and caves were also filled with corpses....No man can ever think of a woman's body except as a matter of horror, instead of attraction, after Ras al-Ain.

Or hell, here is a quote from an Ottoman Naval officer:
In order to justify this enormous crime [of the Armenian Genocide] the requisite propaganda material was thoroughly prepared in Istanbul. [It included such statements as] "the Armenians are in league with the enemy. They will launch an uprising in Istanbul, kill off the Ittihadist leaders and will succeed in opening the straits [of the Dardanelles]." These vile and malicious incitements [were such, however, that they] could persuade only people who were not even able to feel the pangs of their own hunger.

And you can't really deny the existence of the Tehcir Law, of which one prominent Turkish legislator said:
It is unlawful to designate the Armenian assets as “abandoned goods” for the Armenians, the proprietors, did not abandon their properties voluntarily; they were forcibly, compulsorily removed from their domiciles and exiled. Now the government through its efforts is selling their goods...Nobody can sell my property if I am unwilling to sell it....If we are a constitutional regime functioning in accordance with constitutional law we can’t do this. This is atrocious. Grab my arm, eject me from my village, then sell my goods and properties, such a thing can never be permissible. Neither the conscience of the Ottomans nor the law can allow it.

I don't normally drink anise drinks, but I'm Irish so I'll try anything. :D

I'm calling you out for a little bit one on one

Promise me that you will read the sources from the great minds that had to do everything with Genocide.. not just the Armenian one but also the other ones as well...

The back to back conversation will be held through this thread for the world to read....

When we finish this "conversation" I want you to tell the world of any change you have made in your thinking of this subject....

I see that your a loyal, noble and an active factor to your country and like to do anything for it... I respect that greatly

BUT time is a continuim our lives arent... Time is the single most powerful thing in the world that is able to obtain the truth maybe not for the present generation but for the future ones.. It is our responsibility to work as close to Time as possible to make the truth come out quicker and much easier before an inevitable War breaks OUT

Which we all know is BOUND to happen.

So if you accept this... you will show that your country... your race isnt trying to avoid outside sources to resolve this great malfunction in harmony...

Say what you have to say dude, you are making big deals out of a webmaster forum which you posted your first 2 posts under it's P&R forum, assuming all the world listening to here and as if people decide from what we talk. Besides neither you nor me can speak behalf of where we live. If you will post something everyday to reincarnate this thread, i will not be a part of your propagandate.

poor response to what has been talked about and how you were talking.

Guys you are not 100% sure, you just say that there was no GENOCIDE because you were tought so when you were in school

The whole world knows and accepts it, many turks accept it, but as your government doesn't.....

anyway in some cases you are not the one to make the decision, but you are the ones to move your country forward. And there is only one truth here, which everyone knows, but are scared to accept

In fact you guys believe something like that happened because you have so weak bounds so that is the only thing which brings you together, and since there is no way your country can get money or land otherwise, you dream you can get this way, which is likely to cause you lose what you have if you go on with the mess ups anyway, there is a saying here; "Losing your apple when looking for the other"

You don't even know this is not taught us, not a part of the education system, we do not study on unexisting events, you probably think so because you assume every other country has a similar political-educational systems as you do, teaching young people lies and making them enemies to people they don't know at all, and fill them with hate and drag them to fights above their heads they can't ever win. Once again you start fights for beneficial reasons, once again you throw crap to people who would help you more than those who made you puppets, and once again you'll cry when you are reacted for these(as if we care), this is like a rollercoaster to you.

Did your teachers teach you about why those events occured, did they teach how many people those gangs killed before, did they teach you about ASALA, 1992? Or did they teach you to play the victim and so all people will pity on you and support you no matter what?...

When in fact, there are 100 thousands of Armenian citizens here which majorly know there is nothing like that, even them being alive and living in peace is a sufficient evidence, but if we come to ask for your part of the crimes, do you trust those who abandoned you before, can save you this time?

But you will go on with your propanagandate and reincarnating this thread with "yeah it happened please accept, we were sitting at our homes and after 500 years of living there they suddenly realised we are Armenians, and when we were playing cards they came and killed all of us, bursted our balloons and stole our candy for no reason, we were so nice people they just killed us for looking different :(" posts. In the end, you will only prove you still are not bright about picking enemies.

A note to the Armenians in this thread:

The Turks are being childish. Do the Brits deny the Boer War? No, of course not. That would be silly. Nations, like people, make mistakes and learn from them. If a person or a nation denies their mistakes, they cannot learn from them. The Turks have decided that a mistaken national pride is more important than learning and growing as a culture.

So, who cares? Who really cares? Do you care that the Turks deny something that is about as well documented as the laws of thermodynamics? Here's a hint: You shouldn't. You can't make the Turks into reasonable human beings. Moreover, if you could -- it still wouldn't be worth your time.

You have a per capita GDP of $5,400. Work on that instead. Streamline your economy until you are a dominant economic force in the region. Make the Turks wish and dream that they could be Armenian.

You're already far down the path of assimilating 280,000 refugees from the conflict with Azerbaijan. This is very impressive, and is a result of a much more pragmatic, forward-thinking, and human approach to refugees than followed by the Azerbaijanis.

Continue that approach. Make peace with Azerbaijan and relocate the last 138,000 Armenians from Nagorno-Karabakh. Negotiate with the Azerbaijanis to pay you for the land which you and the NKR currently hold. Use that money to resettle the refugees and built a strong economic base for your people and your nation.

If the success of Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Singapore has taught us anything it is that land is almost irrelevant. Make your economy strong and the success of your people and your nation will follow.

Forget the Turks. Let history take care of them.

If history takes care; who would suffer more is not a big question.

Besides, those who believe these useless propagandates; time will tell the truths, sooner or later. History reoccurs for those who do not take the lesson.

" Useless propagandates " - THATS FOR SURE in your country
What about the " Time will tell the Truth " - Time is already begun to tell the truth but in your country you can't here the voices of truth.
Every year more countries are accepting Armenian Genocide , so it's just matter of time when your country will accept it .

    Wish you luck

Indeed it is a useless propagandate to attack people and then cry when you are slapped in the face for betrayal. And yes time will tell.

How many non-christian countries where no politically motivated armenian minority consistently threatening governemnts in terms of economy live in- accepted so far, and what is the percentage in the whole? Are those countries parliaments history authorities? Those who "used" you and abandoned you before, doing the very same again, you are again trusting wrong guys and it will you to be suffer once again, not them, when it comes m2m they will fade away at some point as they always do.

Huge lack of wisdom. Be wise and quit dreaming, peace will do you a lot more good than messing around, check history for examples (unless you want it to reoccur). Because in the same sense, we can ask for what those gangs did in 1910's, what your "official" ASALA did, and what you did in 1992 to our fellow Azerbaijanis, you'll be more sorry trust me. Just be wise and stop messing around. Everybody has there limits.

    Your post was depressingly threatening.

This isn't 1915, the world community isn't going to let you wander around killing Armenians and stealing their property this time.

    This time?
That would mean, they had a property which we took away, which there was not. But if they ask a land from us now, which they do, it gives us the pretty same right, and we can see wo will get what if they drag these so much further.

Besides, it's not a matter of time and i'm not threatening anybody, people can be hostile and act like a complete enemy towards us, provoke us, this is their choice, i'm just reminding there are consequences for such choices, nobody bares a hostile nation living on its' edge for so long, and world community is not made of some western countries, if they had such a love for avoiding illegality, US would not be in Iraq right now since UN have not approved it.

Anyway, one day the owners of these provokaters; French and Russian, which either have no love for US no secret, will turn against you, and these guys will start killing your peeps immediately, if you have a relative or friend in CA, remember what was talked here then.

I am Armenian and I completely agree with what you have said, the Turks are being childish, but you cannot forget the fact that it is roughly 17 years Armenia is an independent country. On my recent visit to Yerevan, I noticed many projects that the government was funding. New highways, new homes, new cities, new job opportunities, basically, it is a nationwide reconstruction. And with elections coming up, Armenia will soon be complete. And we are not focusing on making Turkey look bad or anything like that. Every year we just commemorate those who were unwillingly removed from their homelands and killed by the Turks. And for LeoSeo, it's like saying that the only thing that brings Americans together is President's Day.

LeoSeo said that the Armenian Genocide is the only thing that brings Armenians together...that has to be the funniest thing I have ever heard. LeoSeo, I ask you to not speak of how Armenians act or how our culture is if you do not know anything about it. Armenians are always close, whether it is an Armenian family, or an Armenian whom we do not know at all. We always help eachother out no matter what the situation is. Also, do not think that we are racist and are only nice to other Armenians, we respect every nationality and culture and judge people individually based on their acts and attitude.

Exactly...they are so ignorant that they go around hacking every website which has a foreign IP address or if they know the webmaster is not Muslim or Turkish. Just searched for hacked website and most of the threads are about Turks hacking someones website.
