Will Traffic increase on shifting from blogger to self hosted wordpress platform ?

    15 days back I started a blog on america's popular news subject.Daily traffic is 70 impressions.I read that wordpress is SEO friendly and self hosting is a good step.

    After reading few articles, I am planning to shift from blogger to self hosted wordpress platform.

    How will be hostgator web hosting ?

    Wordpress is SEO friendly and it is a good step to host your blog yourself because you will have more control.

    If you have a store selling ice cream and you have existing customers.... will those customers follow you to a new location? Will your traffic increase?

    This is why one makes a business plan... to figure these things out.

    WordPress is terrific software. I use it for most of my projects. It's an awesome tool. But it's just a tool. What you do with that tool is entirely up to you.

    Transfering may cause some problems in short run, but it highly benificial to transfer from blogger to self hosted wordpress site, as their are thousands of things that you cant do on blogger and they very easily done in wordpress by use of plugins. I would highly recommend to GO FOR IT.

    Blogger is SEO friendly and you can use your own hosting if you would like to, so don't just use that as a reason to migrate.:D

    I'm not sure the wordpress itself will generate any extra traffic. What Wordpress does have is many additional features and plugins that make it easier to optimize your blog or website in terms of SEO. But in the end, it is up to you to do that work.
