Will trademark symbol hurt rearch results?

    I'm selling a popular product on the internet. I got a registered letter saying that I have to put a (r) symbol immedietly after the product name. Will this hurt my onpage optimization so far as the serps go?

    God, I hope not! I have a product like that and have to have the TM symbol all over the place but it is required.
