I have not followed the story much, but he got hurt in the accident and I wonder how those jolts will ultimately affect his back, which has been his main problem, I believe. He has enough money to walk away and probably could still get a gig as a golf announcer/analyst, if he wanted to.
Tiger Woods Will Not Win Another Major After Crash Horror, Says Fellow Grand Slam Winner Gary Player.
Whoa! Now hold your horses: https://www.cnn.com/2022/04/05/golf/tiger-woods-tigermania-2022-masters-spt-intl/index.html Tiger Woods intends to play in the Masters and thinks he can win
Yes, I saw that headline. I am thinking that it is 50/50 as to whether he has a respectable game or performs poorly. I don't see him winning. But, I am someone who does not play or follow golf. I am just basing this opinion on what I have observed in older athletes trying to make comebacks from injuries in many pro sports. Desire and adrenaline are not enough. It usually ends in disappointment for all.
Tiger Woods no, he won't because he really doesn't need it. He did plenty already in his carrier + all the $$$ from sponsors, merch, etc. he doesn't need to bother anymore. That news and him showing is just a marketing, nothing else. If he really decides to play he will play safe.
