Will this work? Mass linking from other related websites under same hosting account?

I want to buy a lot of cheap domains, like a .biz extention, or whatever is the extention that is cheap, and make one-page websites related to my main website, which is a humor site. I would like to my page and have long descriptions on each site. Maybe I'll even get some traffic on the sites! And the extention of a site has nothing to do with the value it gives to another site, correct? I know the value's will be small anyway since I'm not promoting the sites, but together I think it should have a nice impact.

 

Your cheap domains will have zero value, as they will be not spidered by SE without linking.
Links from domains hosted on the same server are worth much less then links from IP address.

 

not worth much...Google knows about schemes such as that already..

 

itll just be considered another page of the same site I imagine. you could be penalized, I screwed up my dmoz listing because of this

 

if they are all hosted on the same IP address, not only it's not good, but it is bad

if you intend to create HUNDREDs of domains under the same host and try to artificially boost your ranking, google will likely penalize you for that...but one thing you could do is make those sites in their own C-Block IP then it might work if each domain had some backlinks.
