Will this site make it?

I have just finished working on building pages on my site www.wrought-iron-curtain.com - Wrought Iron Furniture and Decorating. I have used Commission Junction & Linkshare for product content & am using a combination of Google Adsense & Google Links (the new link thing they offer) I am wondering if you think of the site as a whole? Do you think it has potential or am I wasting my time? I am only about 7 months into knowing much about this stuff (SEO - SEM) & look forward to others with more experience with making money online giving opinions.
    Thanks a bunch! :)

I am making about 7-8 bucks a day on average but 200 of the sites pages have not been up for more than 3-4 weeks. The pages that get the most visits are the 30 or so test pages I put up for search engine figuring (found under Previous Homepage) and the wrought iron - decorating blog @ www.wrought-iron-curtain.com/racks.htm (hosted on my site rather than googles....is that better than having them host it as far as SEO?) Those pages took quite awhile to get traffic, so I am nervously crossing my fingers with the hard work I put into the rest.

Are they using Wrought Iron Curtain Rods for Dentistry these days? I thought they stopped doing that at least a hundred years ago

Maybe a separate thread will be better

I don't think $7-8 a day is bad. SEO takes a long time with google so be patient. You may want to research how much traffic is expected and then use the current conversion rate you have to calculate if it will be worth your while when you get 'all' the traffic (of course all the predicted traffic is not possible but we are working in the framework of data we have),

All the predicted traffic most certainly is possible :)
It depends on what you predict.

The way I do minumum acceptable traffic predictions, is:
    1) try and find out predicted search levels for keywords that are hitting your site atm - I use wordtracker (and I can't be bothered finding my affiliate link).
    2) calculate the % of those levels that you're currently getting from the SE's.
    3) Work out what keywords you'll be tragetting for the new pages.
    4) find out the traffic levels for those new keywords
    5) based on the percentage you've calculated in 2, estimate traffic levels with the new pages.
    6) give it a month or two and see if you're getting those sort of levels.
    7) recalculate as you climb the SERPs and your percentages change.

That's about as scientific as I think you can get with traffic levels.
Be patient and set difficult but reachable targets and if you've got the right keywords, you'll make money.

Thanks for the feedback! I have recently paid for inclusion to probably 20 decent PR & Alexa ranking directories (spent less than $300) and have been actively persuing link exchange partners. I'm hoping when those propogate across the SE's that traffic will increase alot. (currently about 350 unique per day) I am scared to pay Yahoo to get in their directory for fear they will deny the site because it has so much affiliate stuff on it. (Do you think they would let me in?) I would love to get into ODP as well but that will probably never happen. :( I am still in Googles sandbox so ALL of the SE traffic comes from Yahoo & MSN. As far as forcasting traffic, I assume from what I have read that Google accounts for about half of all traffic on most sites. (have you heard that?) I guess I will have to wait and see when I get out. I try not to spend too much time figuring traffic because there are soooooo many variables I could loose my mind. :| I do use wordtracker and love it! I'm just now getting into utilizing it in conjunction with Adsense & Adwords, to increase both traffic & revenue while I wait to get out of the sandbox. I think it will also be good for finding the right anchor text for deep linking to my site. I've read that might help get the gears turning.
