    My Dear Brothers and Sisters

I merely wants to know that I have posted a link in a website having page rank 9 but I am doubtful for the following.

    1) I have given link on my keyword "Laptops" in that website and when i click on that my website is opened in another window but when i hover the mouse over my anchor text in that website then it is showing this URL ( http://www.typepad.com/t/comments?_mode=red&user_id=5601890&id=8706065798 ) instead of my website url.

So tell me that is this link posted on page rank 9 will pass juice to my website or not. Link on this page is dofollow only

( will back soon on DP after getting success in my research.

If this is the method I believe it is, instead of linking directly to your page from the high PR page, it re-directs to a PR0 page which contains your link. This is usually done on high PR blog pages to deter spammers. If this is the case, then the value of the link will be negligible.

It's still a link, with your desired anchor text, but it wont be benefiting from the PR of the original page.

Hope that helps - feel free to drop me further information if you want me to verify this for you.

i think you're refering to the link being redirected through a script on the site, its how high pr sites retain their PR. the link is referencing an internal page (usually a counter) that logs click throughs so the short answer is no, this type of link will not help your seo.

my advice is always to check the page rank from the exact page on which you want topost your link. Some sites claims may havea PR5 but the page on which you link appears is PR0. You can use http://www.digpagerank.com to do a qucik check before you post.

I dont think you can tackle the problem. Unless they personally promised you a link from that page...
