will this hurt traffic and rankings ??

If we change the site layout ( design) and the colors , keeping the page names SAME then will this change affect the site rankings or traffic ??

it depends on what you mean by changing the design, but as far as colors Google does not see a website in color, the only thing that can hurt you in regards to color is hidden text or links (blackhat seo), meaning the text or link blends with the background.

 

Okay everything else remains the same ( i mean backlinks and the page names ) now if i change the layout ( like changing the position ) and some colours then u mean my site wont be affected ??

 

Nope theres no effect but don't change keywords tittle while keywords are on top of Search engine.
