    Let's say I have three websites: A, B and C

    A links to B & C
    B to A & C
    C to A & B
Will this hurt my website? Is this what is considered a link farm?

    Well, it's difficult to say.

Will it hurt - Probably will.
How will it hurt - Dunno
    Link Farm - Probably Not
Google knows this is a network of websites - Yes

Would I recommend this - Depends what you are trying to do.
If you just care about PR, do it.
If you care about rankings, I would not do it.

If I was to do this on my websites, I would own 10 PR6 and 10 PR5 instead of 5 PR6 and 5PR5 and 10PR4+PR3+Pr2+PR1.

In the end, linking between websites does hurt, and not linking hurts as well.

    Would this be any better?
    A links B & C
    B links A & C
    C does not link A neither B

    yes google does!
    you should get a VPS
and get around 10 IP's for it.
i would suggest JaguarPC becasue they are the best imho
when you create an account tick the "IP" box and it will give the site a dedicated IP

maybe no need to complicate and just let the google bot walk around A and B and C ? from A to B and C and from B to A and C and from C to A and B ?

I can't afford a VPS, I guess I'll just get another free host for the website. :)

free webhost probably host hundreds of sites on the same ip.
if you can afford it, get a dedicated ip from different class C, and get private domain registration.

No, it will not hurt any of your websites, but you may or may not get advantages of interlinking.

I doubt on such a small scale this kind of Crosslinking will hurt. There are many large companies that have 3/4 domains and link them all. You'll not get much benefit from it but I'd be fairly certain it wouldn't do any damage.

Will this crosslinking benefit to the visitors of your site? What's your objective in doing such a crosslinking? I agree with Honey - don't do that for ranking purposes. There are many better things to do to get rankings!

It wont hurt your website but it is a form of link exchanging and by dooing that Google will recognize it as a link exchange and rate them lower then if they were one way back-links. If you are looking to get as many links out there pointing towards your site Article Submission is a great way to get as many one way back-links out there which will be better for your PR when Google does there update. Press Releases are another way to form one way back-links to your site. I try to focus on Article Submission sites with a half decent PR thus increasing the traffic viewing the articles and the chances that those articles generating more traffic to your website.

My objective are ranks, and the 3 websites are related.
By the way, getting many links too fast also sounds spammy right?

I think I'm going to get a new IP for C, do I need a new DNS to?
    And get one-way links for em, C won't link A & B. :)

Your best bet is probably choosing which website is most important, and then having the other two link to it. For example, if "A" is your main website, then do the following:

A does not link to B or C
    B links to A
    C links to A

This strategy will provide the most benefit to A, and you can then obtain backlinks from other related sites for B and C.

    HTH,
    Sam
