I had a adwords account that got slapped big time for some time ago, where it became impossible to get good quality score. Now I have a new account that works much better again. Now I was wondering if it is risky to use the same sites that I had in my old account with my new one? (I closed my old account btw) I dont want to get slapped again... and I know that I must get higher CTR to avoid this probably. Thanks let me know.
gsga02 I tried to recover it, but even if I made new campaign and made everything super relevant, I still got bad QS... pipes: Im not 100% sure, but I think I ran some ads with that got very low CTR over some time. It was my first time with Adwords. No one has answered my question yet though: SHould I avoid linking to the URL`s of my old adwords account, or is it no risk of getting slapped again because of this?
I would avoid linking to the old sites. Especially if you don't know what the problem was. Adwords will give you poor quality if your landing pages don't comply well. So it might have had nothing to do with your adwords campaigns. Maybe all you needed was to add a privacy policy to your site for instance. But without knowing the cause for the old slap, the only safe advice is to not promote the old sites. My point is that your slap could have been caused by the old sites. You might be asking for trouble.
using the same domain as previous, even in a new account will result in the same slapping as before. You will need a new url, new landing pages, and new content to get around the google slap.
