Will this hurt me SEO?

    I have a website on alternative / mysteries, etc.

    If I add a new sub section with articles on how to make some cash, do you think this would hurt me at all in the search engines? The articles would of course be unique and non trashy.

    Why not start a new site with those articles?

    It's better to have websites with a clearly defined niche.

    It should not hurt anything in the SEO. However, for the small cost of a domain name, it may be better to start a new site with the articles.

    And if you do it on another server/host, you can leverage the mysteries site to promote the new site

    if you are thinking of relevancy within your site, do not worry it will not hurt to add different niche...but better to register a new domain if you want to make money out of it :D
