I probably have the worst host EVER. Their support is horrible for one and my site is always down. Why? Well, they blame me! They over sell and over charge. I've been looking to transfer but of course, no support. I think they see my age associated with my domain and they just don't take me seriously. Well I opened a "ticket" today asking for further assistance(sort of). Do you think this will get them to take me seriously and give me proper support or did I just screw myself over(even worst)?
Hey Jerlene, it appears the recent move from one server to another has caused some problems, if you check out the Siteground forum you'll see others with the same complaint. The new server was supposed to be better, appears it has made things worse. Fortunately, my account was not moved to the new server and so far support has gotten back to me rather quickly, but I have "mysql server has gone away" errors all throughout the day, which is pretty frustrating, so I may end up moving the site off there. Again, check out their forum if you haven't already, you're not alone with the current server issues.
That's awful, I guess all you can do is warn others, not a good sign when they refuse to help, I better go check my last support ticket!
lol Yah, good idea. There's this one girl that always gets snippy with me on the forums and tickets. There's one guy that's very helpful though, Dino. Try to ask for him personally each time. He'll actually help.
I saw that site but it would take a lot of time and time is something I don't have a lot of these days. I'll look into it for the future though. Thanks.
