I am creating a network of health and law related websites. I am wondering how Google decides whether or not to ban somebody. Is it done by ip? What leads them to check for fradulent clicking? I am new to adsense so one of my friends said they would click the ads on a couple of the sites once a day. I am not sure if this is alright. If it isn't then I need to tell him not to.
you will get banned for sure, they use behavior analyzing to find out about stuff like this keep it honest bro, good karma, good life
You better get them to stop first, clicking a few times a day is such a regular pattern that I doubt Google Adsense algorithm won't be able to catch.
nah, I wouldn't suggest that. That's why it is best to keep your site secret from your friends. While they think clicking your adsense is a big help, that would only do harm otherwise.
If you have one friend clicking an ad once every few days - then you might get away with it, but if you don't have plently of other people also visiting and clicking ads then your one friends efforts are futile (as it will usually take at least 1,000 clicks to get to the $100 threshold) and your are running the risk of getting banned. Your call!
Technically speaking if they are only a few clicks, and the cookies are cleared and IP is changed, Google will not catch it (with the fact that none of Google services/programs are used). However, this is the same as stealing, just like your fiend stealing an apple for your, everyday, without being caught. Peace,
In an attempt at making money, you would actually be doing fraud by having your friends click the ads. One way or the other, Google will eventually catch up and will ban you for life!
I think you’re playing the fool, have you read the TOS? You’re not worthy to the possibility of a sustainable income if you act loopy, read the TOS, no offence, the TOS will explain this.
I would bet money that is one of the most common ways to get banned from Adsense. Having friends click your ads on a regular basis is tracked. They log ip addresses. In fact, they can sniff out fraud very well. They analysis internet activity patterns on a per user level.
