As you can see the small Adsense block is placed directly after the first paragraph... The ad is not "spaced" away from the paragraph so I guess some visitors could mistake it for a link that's part of the article instead of an ad. Also, there's the ellipsis after paragraph 1. I'm not sure how Google thinks about that (I did not put it there intentionally but some of my articles have that). Anyway, is this ad placement and the preceding ellipsis fine in the eyes of Google? Or am I asking to be banned?
The place for ad block is OK, you would get ban for this ad placement. More important is your site content and other options.
Don't worry My friend Mezmur .. No problem at all.. you can see the same placement in this forum.. DigitalPoint.. and you know what is DigitalPoint
Quite clearly GC was being sarcastic- if the OP can't work that out, then he deserves to be banned. WebDev
Slow down Grasshoppa before you ASSume you think I don't know WTF I'm talkin about. Read the fine print son... Sarcasm will go a long way! Holla!~
I put ads like that before in the same exact spot so I know what you're talking about. I've never been worried about this stuff before, I just find it useful to put it there. And to answer your question OP, no, you will not get banned for having it there.
even though Google Adsense TOS says you agree not to confuse the reader with the content and ads, however, this looks neat enough and should not violate any terms. Most of the popular sites use such forms to improve earning potential.. so its cool.
For your secure, better if you add more spaces between ads and content. Google is "unpredictable", even there is TOS.
