Will this effect me in the future?

    Hi,

I registered the domain careerhunt.com.au about a year ago because I am from Australia.

Just recently checked and the domain careerhunt.com is taken and is used for a similar topic of course.

Can they get me into trouble in the future?

I noticed www.mycareer.com.au this is a massive job site in Australia.
    and then there is www.mycareer.com

and there doesn't seem to be any trouble between them?

    Cheers

yes they might be able to take it from you, but it depends, if your in Australia and the .com site is in the US, I'm not sure but the US and Australia might have an agreement protecting each others trademarks in both countries, then they could have you transfer it to them, and they will usually offer to cover the expenses

who said this was trademarked? trademarks rarely protect "merely descriptive" terms. career hunt = looking for careers
