Guys! i am planning to create a unique content or article 100% written by myself. And to create backlinks and increasing PR i am submitting about 70% part in article directories like ezine. My query is , can i submit the same article to other directories like article base, and much more directories without rewriting it again? To rewrite for new directory is not possible too! Will google penalises for this? Does this effect of back links as the contents are same in all article directories, please suggest me!
Good news is if the article written is on your own website prior (and indexed), you should be ok. Just make sure to write the article and slap it on your site, wait til the next index, then submit the article elsewhere. Submit your articles to sites that are indexed almost daily. Take care.
its actually normal to do that if you follow some site owners. tjhey ussually create another blog to put backlinks to thier original blog.
Make sure the article is indexed on your site before you link back to it. Google does a pretty good job of figuring out the original author of the article if the article directory links back to it. However, if you want to be safe you should rewrite the original to a much smaller version that gets posted on the various article sites.
You can post same article but you will not get many backlinks from it as 95% will go in suplemental results. By watching webmaster tools i can guess google don't count as backlinks pages in suplemental results, if someone noticed thecontrary please let me know
There's nothing wrong in submitting your articles to different directories, the problem you will encounter here is that your articles won't rank highly in search results. Quote "Google will always show the version we think is most appropriate for users in each given search, which may or may not be the version you'd prefer" Regarding backlinks from duplicate content for PR purposes, we really can't tell how Google will evaluate the importance of the links. You might find this article useful Google policy on duplicate content.
