I've done it a couple of times myself. If I'm going to buy a Clickbank product myself why not?

Just don't ask for a refund.

Its fine to buy some products from your own links, they need it to gain more profit. But lets not forget that you must promote your products too, so maybe you can tell your friends about the benefit of the product.

If you have been successful at sellingthe product, you might be able to get a free copy by asking the publisher.

Just say, "I am a Clickbank affiliate (your clickbank username) and I've sold several copies of your product. I was wondering if you would be willing to give me a free copy of the product to review. I'd like to fine tune my sales page and I'd like to check out the ebook/product/program/whatever."

Many publishers will be willing to give you a free copy so long as they know you're a serious affiliate. Even if the publisher says no, it can't hurt to ask.

I often give free copies of my products to affiliates who are serious about promoting it.
