Will this be legal? (Selling a collection of images with CC License)

I wanted to know if it would be legal to sell a product consisting predominantly of a collection of images licensed under Creative Commons Attribution License after crediting the respective authors.

Let me give you an example. I am selling a collection of photos taken on and around the Eiffel tower. I am using photos taken by several photographers who have released the photos under the Creative Commons Attribution License and compiling this into a product. I will ofcourse be crediting these people in my work.

Just wanted to know if this type of thing would be in the green?

Well I will try to be helpful, I have read the CC license, which in my humble opinion is not the most free and open license.

I prefer the MIT license which is just so simple and directly to the point.

    (it just makes sense)

the CC license may or may not be legal, depending on how each respective creative author lists his or her options, which is where this becomes a little foggy, each CC licensee, can have different options, which requires that you read each and every license to make sure that they have not added any particular language that would prevent commercial activity.

Usually, the CC license is not very friendly to commercial endeavors.

read it very carefully to understand the answer to your question.
