I found a link to one of my pages which looked like this http://ringsurf.com/netring?action=home&ring=xtra It is one of my web rings. The page the link is on is PR5 and I am wondering if this is helping to add to my PR value even though it is not a direct "myhomepage.com" link? Thanks, Justin
if u get any links to your site it have some weight but it is depend on lots of things like - theme of your site and his site - number of links on his links page - pr of his link page and so on...
yes, everything is worthwhile, most definitely a link from a PR5 site, if its to the inside pages then doubly useful.
If you didn't pay for it and you got a PR 5 link without a trade, that is very good. If that continued virally, you'd be a genius.
i might be wrong here but would search engines follow that link seeing as its got ? & = signs in the link?
Thats what I'm wondering. I'm confused. They might because I found that using back link checker tools pulls that link as a back link even though its not "mywebsite.com" type of link.
