Hi all, This website is completely in English. However, as an experiment, i have translated one article using Google translate (into russian) and posted it as an article on the site for testing. Now tell me, will google treat it as violation of adsense TOS? It would be violation if i put adsense on those pages, whose language is not supported by Adsense. But here i posted article in a language that Adsense supports. So tell me, how is Google and other going to behave to this one. The russian post is this http://childpack.com/2010/11/подгузник-изменения/ I wonder the above url is coming like a junk character. Actually the url also has russian words in the end as it was the title of my article. (Hope i have pasted it right, i am just trying to clear my doubts here. If MODs feel somethings wrong, they may delete the thread, but don't ban my account here! :-( )
I doubt it but why not play it safe, take it off your site and submit the article to a Russian directory and link back to your English site. I'm not really sure what kind of test you are doing but I assume you are trying to see how many visitor and clicks you get from a Russian audience.
We have a lot of sites with Russian content on, many of which carry Adsense too. The ads come up in Russian (or Ukrainian). Its never been a problem. Your subject stinks [sic] though. Russians are not too keen on nappies generally, and prefer to get their kids out of them ASAP. Google translate sucks BTW.
