I'm hoping she meant the war against the Republic of the United States. The one where the Constitution becomes anachronistic and the rule of law is subverted by the ruling class of politicians and business interests.

The federal constitution is what causes our rights to be slowly chipped away. Anti-Federalists opposed to the Constitution and led by Thomas Jefferson were able to add the Bill of Rights to the constitution as part of a compromise. Just imagine if there were no Bill of Rights. We would be assed-out.

 

Stopping them as in dead? i would say so

 

No.. people don't have it in them to live without war. Imagine this world to be a peaceful place.. it just wouldn't seem right. :/

No its not stopping them but a lot of them are getting killed because of it.

 

As long as people have feelings, emotions, desires and ambitions there will also be wars and fights of some sort.

 

I agree but it's hopeless to expect such.
