We are just in the midst of developing a website and Im wondering if anyone with SEO and programming experience can look at this site and tell me whether the basis file structure etc will prohibit a good ranking.

Im not a pro with programming so Id really like to know if anyone has experience and can tell me whether the way this site is setup is going to hinder growth on search engines.

Ill give you a bag of peanuts for you help. :)

the basic rule you should follow is this: all the pages you want indexed should be within 3 clicks of your home page

this basic rule will enable you to develop an SEO friendly site structure

try to compress/delete that flash animation. I have 256KB/s and it loads 10-15 sec. Nobody will wait that long. And there is no text that would be for seo. For example Anti-Stat bags there is no text about anti stat bags and no alts. The site looks great.

I can get the flash fixed no problem and the site will have more text once its done. My query was really regarding the site setup and programming. There are no HTML pages and everything is called from PHP code. Is there any way to know whether this site is spiderable?

Yes it is spiderable. spiders deals well with php. Spiders can decrease website importance if site is dynamically made (everything changes in seconds).

It's certainly spiderable, but if you wanted to give the appearance of having a static site you could use mod_rewrite for a file structure of directory/category/product.html rather than just directory/category/product

    nice site BTW
