yfs1, i agree with what your saying, only recently if i remember correctly i was sticking up for directory owners. iatbm, i obviously have made a mistake, i fully agree with that. Your going to give me negative feedback, jesus christ, and there i was beginning to like this forum, i hate to say this to you but your attitude seems not unlike the other guy who sent me the email, i wish you much luck and strength in your projects as i see your missing something important.
It doesn't mean you have to accept every subdomain I like iabtm so I would say he is just letting his frustration get the best of him. Don't take it personally and I certainly hope you stay. I actually like this thread so I had already gave you a green (sorry iabtm )
What is important ? I am very dedicated to what I do and if I received that kind of letter I would first think there must be something wrong with me that I received this kind of response for something I did!
hahaha you are so right... yesterday I was looking for thread where I can give red (didn't give one in weeks) and yesterday I didn't find one but this one came like a birthday cake
It is an odd email I have to say. There are ways of doing things, and this is not one of the correct ways. I have sometimes got to a point when I have simply sent an email saying :~ RTFM <end trans>
This is how world goes and earlier you realize better for your future I say. If you don't obey rules on someones territory you get kicked out and not in a nice way I might add
Lol, im feeling the, are you a man or a mouse vibe from your comment there, its sounding a little street like actually, like the tough guy verses the rest type of way and only the strong survive. Well the way this guy handled his business is kind of ghetto like, how an individual might handle something in the street, and having myself come from a less than desirable place in the city where i live i learned that going through life with the tough guy attitude, i aint taking any prisoners type of thing does not work in many businesses. If people want to be street like when dealing in business thats up to them, but to bring it to the "real" business world will not work for them for very long. This has not been an attack against directory owners, anything but, what it has been is complete shock that some people think this is normal and that some how this guy and people like him will succeed. People like my mystery email guy screw up in life and go to prison because of their mentality to things, politeness and restraint is not that difficult if people try.
I doubt he is like that in real life...Most people that talk big in the anonymous world of the www are either wuses or 12 year olds that haven't wised up. They can be this way when they run sites that are for SEO purposes only. I can tell you I would never even think of a mail like that with my main business. Mostly because it would cost me big time (No matter how stupid a customer might be at that moment) There are so many directories, that kid/guy knows it won't hurt them in the least. Whats the url of the directory by the way?
bla bla bla I am a Saint and you are dirty ghetto unproffesional low life Get real man. It is not proffesional bussiness you have going on here. You got your feelings involved in this one because some unimportant guy sent you some email !! I wonder what you did wrong ? And it is unproffessional if you submit link that is not under guidelines. Remember that and get over it.
Well sure anonymous hehe you got my picture and if you check whois of my sites even my telephone number is there well it is everything there I agree that that kind of email is not apropriate but who knows why reaction was like that ? All I can see is rant od some guy whose link was not approved
Anonymous hehe you got my picture and if you check whois of my sites even my telephone number is there. Real world is real on the internet too. This is not virtual as many think it is real with real people and many times their identities are well known. But I agree that that kind of email is not apropriate but who knows why reaction was like that ? All I can see is rant od some guy whose link was not approved
You need to get a better script. So does the guy who sent the unprofessional email. A few lines of code in the right place, and this kind of problem doesn't have to occur. The moral of this story is, don't get mad, get hacking (in the original sense of programming something that solves a problem, and not breaking into stuff, of course).
I must have been half asleep as i missed the details but it appears it came from www.awebsitedirectory.com Congratulations on your way of handling business.
