will the google consider some same default text on every page under a section as spam

I have a section called papers in which there are flash papers from scribd. I already had a long conversation here about optimizing those scribd papers and i know you people hate that thing, but i have no other choice than to use scribd. So as to include more text on the pages and mainly to write down some instructions for the users, i am thinking of some default text on every paper page which will contain the repeatitive text (as i cant write individually for each page) with just the name of the paper being different everytime. The text will contain some phrases bolded out and some anchor tags within my site. So what will it look like to google bot when he finds out the same content on each page of my site, though it is original and unique to my site ??
If anybody wants to check the site, its the papers section on the site in my signatures..

In everything I have researched, Google only really likes each page of unique content. Having 500 pages on your site with the exact same text will not really help you any for SEO purposes but if it is instructions for your users, it will be helpful for them.

Google shouldn't ignore the rest of your pages content though, just the sections that are repeated on your other pages.

Well thats what the purpose of putting the text is, helping out the user. I am afraid that google might consider it as spam. Any tag or something that can prevent google from considering only that particular text for indexing ??

It shouldn't flag it as "span" it just won't count that repeated text as content that would be considered "original" content on those pages. All of the rest of the individual content will be counted fine on those pages.
