Will the "Google +1 Like" thing affect SERP?

The aim of the Google+1 is to rank sites in terms of user experience than folks trying to thwart the efforts of the search engine algorithms, time will tell if it will be a success

 

As it seems, logged-in google users are not bothering to recommend websites, so +1 is a failure as far as I’m concerned. Having or not having the +1 box on your site doesn’t affect the SERPS.

If Google wants to compete with Facebook, Google+ must have all features that Facebook Offers. At this time we do not have lot of proof to suggest it is webmaster friendly. But It will become a platform for webmasters soon. That is the hope behind all of us jumping to the bandwagon

It only affect to the SERP of person who like your page.

For example, If I like +1 digitalpoint, when I search on google it will affect the result and digitalpoint pages will be above others.
But someone who don't like digitalpoint, will see different search result.

Google+1 button doesn't effect serp it is just like facebook button or tweet button but if your google+ circle is very popular among your friends so it will give your domain popular amongst them

I think that social media influences SERPs ranking for a website. As we all know that traffic on a website is one of the strong signal for ranking, and social media is the best medium for targeted traffic.
